Terms of Service

Welcome to SmartVouchers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By purchasing a voucher or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Voucher Redemption

SmartVouchers can be redeemed for essential supplies (either one 48kg filled gas cylinder or three 25L filled water bottles) only when a confirmed public power outage or water cut has occurred for a minimum duration of 72 consecutive hours at the redemption address provided.

2. Verification

Payday Connect (PTY) Ltd ("we", "us") will verify the duration and validity of the utility outage before issuing collection details. This verification process is final and at our sole discretion. We may use public information or other data sources to confirm the outage.

3. Collection

Once an outage is verified, you will receive details for collecting your supplies. Collection is the responsibility of the customer. Gas cylinders are collected from the nearest partner Afrox store, and water bottles are collected from the nearest partner Oasis store. You must present your SmartVoucher code and a valid identification document at the collection point.

4. Non-Refundable Purchase

The purchase of a SmartVoucher is strictly non-refundable. Vouchers do not expire and can be held until a qualifying event occurs. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product or service.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the provision of the collection details upon successful verification of a qualifying event. We are not responsible for stock availability at the collection points, travel to and from the collection points, or any other costs incurred by the customer.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
